Unlock your creativity and enter into
a world of colour, texture & personal expression through paint at
this four hour workshop in the centre of London; new for 2024 and
suitable for all!
Whether you’re a total beginner or an
experienced artist, this class offers something for everyone, with
lots of one-to-one tuition available, a relaxed, supportive
atmosphere and a focus on creative freedom. All materials are
included so all you need to bring is yourself & an open mind. We
work with acrylic paint to minimise the potential for mess & to
ensure that most paintings will be dry by the end of the class, but
you are welcome to bring your own materials along should you
prefer.
The workshop is led by figurative
artist Dan Whiteson, whose vibrant and passionate approach to
teaching drawing & painting has inspired students across London and
the UK for over a decade. His unique, energetic style encourages
experimentation and creativity, ensuring that every student feels
confident and inspired to push their boundaries.
The session will begin with two
shorter poses of around 30 minutes to warm up and loosen your
creative muscles, followed by a focused long pose of 2/2,5 hours,
allowing you to more deeply explore painting from the human form.
There will be breaks every half hour to ensure both comfort for the
model, and to maximise the amount of support available to anyone
who needs it.
*Please note* I never want
money to be a barrier to the arts, and I'm fully aware that times
are hard for many right now. If you would like to join the session,
but are unable to pay full price, please do not hesitate to message
me directly.
